A corporation that assimilated multiple heterogeneous and very complex environments, had to simplify, organize and optimize the hardware standards.
It was up to me to design the best approach to that.

Brief & Idea.

Managing massive heterogeneous environment of 30 000 diverse computers is not impossible, if you are an advanced AI. Though even then you would optimize and standardize it, in order to simplify the management, scaling and extending that network.

Furthermore, there are particular standards to which you have to comply, some of which are contradicting with your policies, other standards, or even themselves. Reshaping it is like upgrading a massive live mechanism, which is constantly working at supporting the life of your company.

Result.

A 99% compliance to standards was more than we were hoping to achieve. Cost savings covered the cost of the project many-fold, and extending the infrastructure stopped being a problem.
